How do I get to the U.S. Consulate if driving from…?
Cancun to Merida: As you get off Highway 180 you will hit Calle 61 (61st St.). Continue for about four kilometers on Calle 61 until you hit Calle 60. Turn right onto Calle 60 and continue for approximately two kilometers to the Hyatt hotel tower. One block past the Hyatt, bear left at the Pemex gas station where the road splits. The consulate is located on the right about 100 meters past the Pemex gas station on Calle 60.
Progreso to Merida: As you get off Highway 261, proceed straight past the Liverpool Store and over the overpass onto Prolongacion Montejo. Continue on Prolongacion Montejo for about three kilometers, passing the traffic circle with the big stone monument (Monumento a la Patria) where Prolongacion Montejo changes its name to Paseo de Montejo. At the next traffic light, take a right onto Cupules. At the next traffic light, take a soft right onto Calle 60, passing the Pemex gas station on your right. The consulate is located on the right about 100 meters past the Pemex gas station on Calle 60.
Celestun to Merida: As you get off Highway 025, you will be on Avenida Jacinto Canek. Continue on Jacinto Canek until it meets Avenida Itzaes. Then turn left onto Itzaes. Stay on Itzaes for about two kilometers until you reach a large traffic circle. From the traffic circle, take your first right onto Avenida Colon. Continue on Colon for about two kilometers up to Calle 60 just short of the Hyatt Hotel tower. Turn left onto Calle 60. One block later, bear left at the Pemex gas station where the road splits. The consulate is located on the right about 100 meters past the Pemex gas station on Calle 60.
Campeche to Merida: As you get off Highway 180, it will turn into Avenida Itzaes. Continue on Itzaes for about six kilometers until you reach a large traffic circle. From the traffic circle, take your first right onto Avenida Colon. Continue on Colon for about two kilometers up to Calle 60 just short of the Hyatt Hotel tower. Turn left onto Calle 60. One block later, bear left at the Pemex gas station where the road splits. The consulate is located on the right about 100 meters past the Pemex gas station on Calle 60.
