The Consulate in Merida is open for walk-in services Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Consulate is open all regular working days except for American and Mexican holidays. Service is fastest and waiting times are the shortest for clients arriving before 10:00 a.m.
Important Scheduling Information
Beginning in January 2008, the American Citizen Services Unit will be closed for routine services on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month.
This schedule applies only to routine, non-emergency services. An American citizen who is in need of emergency services may still come to the Consulate during normal working hours and will be admitted.
